Who are we at ByronGlow?

ByronGlow began as more than a product — it was personal.

Created by two female founders, Lily and Varney, who were both drawn to the power of LED light therapy not by trends, but through a shared passion for natural wellness and innovation in skincare.

Lily was born in Byron Bay and immersed in its deep-rooted culture of holistic health and natural therapies. Varney has called Byron home for over 45 years — long before it became a global wellness capital. Together, we’ve lived the true Byron lifestyle — one grounded in nature, intuition, and the belief that the body has an incredible capacity to thrive when given the right support.

Our exploration into light therapy led us to the science behind it — and what we found was remarkable. Originally developed by NASA to promote wound healing and tissue regeneration in space, LED light therapy has since become one of the most researched and promising technologies in skin health. 

Different wavelengths of light have been studied for their ability to support collagen production, reduce the look of inflammation, improve clarity, and promote overall skin vitality.

We also realised something else. Most active-ingredient skincare comes with a short shelf life, frequent irritation, and too much waste. We wanted something better. Something that worked with the skin, not against it.
